Live-in care offers a solution to people needing a lot of support so that they can remain safe whilst living at their home. Our live in carer will maintain safety and comfort 24/7, living alongside the person in their home. They will provide personal care, meals, cleaning and friendship.

What is live-in care?

Sometimes you may need someone to be with you around the clock. With our live-in care service, you will have a choice of caregiver matched to your personalised needs and preferences, which means you get to keep your independence in your own home, and still benefit from extra help around the house, security and companionship that will be offered by our carergivers. This also applies to couples – we want to provide a care solution that means you can stay together with as little disruption as possible.

Live-in care can be suggested for those who are newly discharged from hospital or those returning from a residential care home.

Your caregiver is chosen with you in mind. You may want someone who can drive or has a certain type of specialist experience and we can factor that in when we look to see who is the best fit for you. With this, your caregiver will need to have their own room and regular breaks. If needed, we will arrange for a relief caregiver during these breaks.

Each of our highly trained, professional, caring staff will be on hand to help you, whether it be personal care or companionship, day or night. There are less disruption to the life you already lead and you can keep the same routines, with your carergiver’s help.

The support we offer is to your needs; so if you need assistance with mobility, your medication, house maintenance, shopping, looking after beloved pets, days out… we are able to help.

Live-in care also includes nutrition, and the meals our staff prepare will be to your need and part of a well-balanced diet.

We also have staff specially trained to assist with complex medical conditions, so you need never to worry about whether your caregiver is able to cover all of your needs.

Live-in care offers many different services that we offer while they support you in your own homes –

Respite care – offering your usual caregiver a break.

Over night care – continuous support and security whilst you rest.

Housekeeping – making sure your surroundings are kept clean and tidy.

Personal care – any daily tasks you may need assistance with.

It can take on average 4-6 weeks to start with our live in services. The important first step is meeting our manager, who will come to your home and access what you require. You will have one main caregiver, who will have the relevant training and qualified caregiver. All our caregiver's will have a police check, a background check by ourselves and will be fully insured to be working in the client's residence. Personalities matter, so the second part meeting one of our carergivers who feel would most match the personality of the client , is vitally important. During their break periods for holidays or sickness we will provide another caregiver who will be there until the main caregiver returns. You will have one main caregiver to a minimum and ensure they all follow our Care Support Plan. Each caregiver receives regular supervision from the registered manager.
